Help with the app

Talk to us

Ring or text 07842 658450. A real person answers. If it is out of hours, leave a message and somebody will come back to you.

You can also use the contact form at connectedhomeless.org.

I cannot sign in

You sign in with the five-character member number the charity gave you, not an email address. It is five letters and numbers, all lower case. If you have lost it, or the password does not work, ring the number above and we will sort it out. Do not make a second account: your points are attached to the first one.

Is what I say private?

Yes, with one exception, and it is worth reading: see the privacy page. Staff do not read your conversations. If you say something that suggests you are in danger, the app raises a flag so somebody can check you are alright.

I want it to forget everything

Open your helper, tap Yours, then What you remember about me, then Forget everything at the bottom. It goes immediately and nobody is asked first.

The helper will not talk to me

Tap Call at the top of the chat and give it a second: she says hello first, so if you hear nothing at all, something is wrong at our end and the screen will say so. Typing works whether or not the voice does. If your phone is on silent, the ring switch on the side does not stop a call in this app, but the volume buttons do.

Something is broken

Tell us on the number above and say roughly when it happened and what you were doing. It genuinely helps, and it is how most of this app got fixed.
